Thyrsostachys siamensis

Bamboo is one of the important vegetative resources after plantation wood and is a major raw material for the forest product industry. In Vietnam, bamboo has become the main material for industrial manufacturing of round and laminated bamboo furniture and parquet. The bamboo Thyrsostachys siamensis with its Vietnamese name “Tam Vong” is one of the most common species growing mainly as a forest and also largely cultivated in the provinces Binh Thuan, Gia Lai, Kong Tum, Lam Dong and Tay Ninh.

The bamboo Thyrsostachys siamensis is one of the most common species growing mainly and also largely cultivated in South Vietnam. The culms are the main raw material of many bamboo companies for industrial manufacturing of round and laminated bamboo furniture for exportation. Bamboo has low natural durability against fungi and insects.

The effects of phytohormones and positions on mother stem on shooting rate, number of shoots per cut, foot diameter of shoots, height of shoots, rooting rate, average number and length of roots by culm cuttings of Thyrsostachys siamensis Gamble Nam Bo were investigated. In this study, the phytohormones used were NAA, IBA and HVP.

Bài báo này giới thiệu kết quả nghiên cứu về ảnh hưởng của chất điều hòa sinh trưởng (ĐHST) và vị trí lấy hom đến khả năng nảy chồi, số lượng chồi trên mỗi hom, đường kính chân măng, chiều cao măng, tỷ lệ ra rễ, số lượng rễ và chiều dài rễ trung bình trên mỗi hom khi giâm hom thân tre Tầm vông Nam Bộ. Trong nghiên cứu này, các chất điều hòa sinh trưởng được sử dụng là NAA, IBA và HVP. Hom thân đem giâm được lấy ở 3 vị trí: gần gốc (V1), giữa thân (V2) và gần ngọn (V3). Thí nghiệm được bố trí theo kiểu hoàn toàn ngẫu nhiên với 3 lần lặp lại, mỗi nghiệm thức của thí nghiệm có 36 hom.

Bài báo này giới thiệu kết quả nghiên cứu về ảnh hưởng của chất điều hòa sinh trưởng (ĐHST) NAA đến tỷ lệ nảy chồi, số lượng chồi trên mỗi hom, tỷ lệ ra rễ và số rễ trên mỗi hom sau khi giâm hom thân tre Tầm vông Nam Bộ. Trong nghiên cứu này, chất điều hòa sinh trưởng NAA được sử dụng với 4 nồng độ và 4 khoảng thời gian ngâm. Thí nghiệm được bố trí theo kiểu khối đầy đủ ngẫu nhiên 2 nhân tố với 17 nghiệm thức (trong đó có 1 đối chứng) và 3 lần lặp lại, mỗi nghiệm thức của thí nghiệm có 36 hom.
