Underpinned by the technology-organisation-environment framework, this paper aims to present a theoretical model of barriers to e-marketplace adoption by Vietnamese SMEs. The theoretical model reveals twelve critical barriers, including lack of benefits, lack of compatibility, complexity, perceived risks, costs, lack of top management support, lack of knowledge readiness, lack of financial readiness, lack of innovativeness, lack of customer support, lack of external support, and lack of government support.

This global minimum structure has the shape of a tetragonal bipyramid having two Sc atoms at two tops of pyramids binding with one edge of Ge-Ge. The ground electronic state of the global minimum isomer is the 2B2 state in the C2v symmetry. The most stable isomer of Sc2Ge6 − has been used to study the CO adsorption. The calculated results indicate that the Sc2Ge6 − cluster has a good interaction with the CO molecule. The adsorption positions are around the Sc atom with two stable models include adsorbing the C atom and adsorbing both the C and O atoms of the CO molecule.

Tensegrity is a structural system constructed of tensile cables and compressive bars. This thesis proposes several general methods for creating tensegrity structures. The author has developed new methods for creating specific tensegrity cells and the corresponding computer code. Furthermore, the author has constructed various physical models to validate the methods. A proposal for an observation tower on top of the Eureka building in Melbourne has also been devised by the author.

This thesis involves construction of input-output models measuring the economic impact of a farming innovation organisation (The Birchip Cropping Group) on the Victorian regional economy of Buloke Shire. The input-output modeling undertaken is of two forms; the first being a simple top-down model, and the second a more sophisticated hybrid model. The top-down model is based on input-output coefficients drawn from the Australian national input-output tables, and is regarded as because these input-output coefficients are not adjusted to take account of local economic factors.

Accordingly, a model is developed that integrates ACAP, MVC and MV with market-driving innovation performance, comprising before-launch stage performance, post-launch stage performance and financial performance. In this study, effects of voidage distribution to gas velocity profile in a packed bed with pellet particles was empirically investigated. Uniformity of local velocity at the top of the bed was clearly observed with decreasing of bed height and flow rate. For 400 mm of bed height, the measured velocities are a well fitting to Fahien and Stankovich model for any expected flow rate.
