Because of fast leucocyte degeneration in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) laboratory examinations of CSF samples should be performed approximately within 30 min after withdrawal. This study examines the storage of canine and feline CSF samples in “TransFix®/EDTA CSF Sample Storage Tubes” (Cytomark, Buckingham, UK) for preventing leucocytes from degeneration, so that routine and flow cytometry examinations are feasible up to 3 days after sampling.

Group B dogs were subjected for CTR placement, phacoemulsification and IOL implantation, and in Group A phacoemulsification followed by IOL implantation only.

The present study was conducted on 12 dogs of either, sex, breed, aged between 1-8 years brought to T.V.C.C, Jabalpur having a diaphyseal fracture in any of the long bones i.e. Humerus, femur and tibia. The dogs were randomly divided into three equal groups irrespective of breed and sex. The radiographs in two standard views were taken to diagnose the fracture and to select optimum titanium pins. In all the three groups, the diaphyseal fractures were repaired with internal fixation using titanium elastic pin. In group I, the fracture was repaired by using the titanium pin alone.

The present study was conducted on 205 dogs of different sex, age and breeds affected with dermatological affections for a period of one year i.e. July 2017 to June 2018. Based on diagnosis, 205 dogs were found affected with dermatological affections. Among 205 dogs, (15.61%) 32 dogs were found affected with superficial pyoderma. The values of haemoglobin in dogs affected with superficial pyoderma were found significantly lower and values of packed cell volume were found non-significantly lower as compared to healthy control.
