In this study, Taguchi's experimental design method was used to improve the yield of FOX-7. Verification of the results shows that the optimal synthesis parameters are as follows: the molar ratio of HNO3/MPD is 8, the reaction time is 180 minutes, and the reaction temperature is 15°C; the maximum yield of FOX-7 can reach 79.14%.

The study results show inter-relationships and transformations of the three indicators in the research context, where urban land temperature and Urban Heat Island (UHI) are raised by built-up areas and in contrast, reduced by vegetated areas. As a result, urban green space would be a driver to mitigate the harmful impact of the "heat island" effect in urban areas. Aim to strengthen concentrated green areas and vegetation in land areas that are less favorable for construction.

This study aims to synthesize and characterize the formation of dihydroxystearic acid (DHSA) from the ring opening of epoxidized oleic acid. The optimal reaction parameters to produce DHSA were found using sulfuric acid as catalyst in which the maximum relative conversion was reached up to 86%. The detection of hydroxyl group was using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy.

The 3D printing PMMA/ZrO2 filaments with a diameter of 1.75±0.05 mm were fabricated by using a single-screw extruder at temperatures of four heating zones of 190, 200, 210, and 210°C. Testing samples were prepared from the extruded filaments by using a fusion deposition modeling 3D printer and a Haake MiniJet piston injection molding machine. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, mechanical properties, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analysis of the filaments were investigated.

This study was designed to extract a high yield of polysaccharides from the M. smilacifolium trunk and characterize it. As a result, the maximum yield of the polysaccharides of 5.13 ± 0.05% was obtained with an extraction time of three hours, extraction temperature of 100 oC, the ratio of water to sample of 1:50 as extraction solution, extraction number of times 3, and the ratio of ethanol to extract volume 5:1 (v/v).

Ebook "Chemistry and technology of yoghurt fermentation" reviews the chemistry behind the production of yoghurt through acidification of milk. It quantifies the changes in physical and chemical properties of yoghurt during fermentation with microbial organisms (such as Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus). It has been found that this symbiosis has an optimal development at a temperature of ca. 45°C with the transformation of lactose into lactic acid and small amounts of acetaldehyde, diacetyl and volatile acids.

In this study, various physical parameters (temperature, light intensity and UV-C radiation) which could be effective in heat shock response on C.reinhardtii by using molecular tools were investigated. In total, 256 transformants were obtained, among them, 160 transformants had continuous expression while 96 of them had heat-inducible expression. In these transformants, arylsulfatase activities were detected qualitatively and quantitatively.

Comprehensive ex-situ and in-situ investigations of thermal curing processes in spin-on ultra-low-k thin films conducted by positron annihilation spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies are presented. Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy of ex-situ cured samples reveals an onset of the curing process at about 200 ◦C, which advances with increasing curing temperature.

Magnesium borates can be used as detergent compounds or hydrocarbon catalyzers and in the ceramics industry for superconductor material manufacture owing to their high elastic coefficient and resistance to corrosion at high temperatures.
