Transmission matrix method

This paper presents the dynamic model and singularity-free simulation of electromechanical systems including closed loop multibody systems, massless gear transmission and electric motors. The dynamic model of these systems is established in matrix form and written in a Differential-Algebraic Equations form by applying the Lagrangian equation with multipliers and substructure method.

A superhydrophobic high-density polyethylene (HDPE)/organoclay composite material with a water-static contact angle of ∼162◦ and low hysteresis (7◦) was prepared by a simple solution-intercalation technique. This onestep method consists of the insertion of organoclay, produced through cation exchange with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), in the polymer matrix at 120◦C in xylene. In this process, evaporation of the solvent and organoclay amount are key factors for the achievement of superhydrophobicity.

Mm-wave is currently of interest due to its ability to enhance large bandwidth, which can fully meet the speed of 5G information systems. The beamforming techniques are studied for this wave such as beam weights updating at the receiver to ensure the fastest convergence rate of the weighting algorithm. We need to specify algorithms such as mean least squares (LMS), recursive least squares (RLS), sampling matrix inverse (SMI), conjugate gradient methods (CGM). There are many articles related to the comparison of these algorithms on convergence weighting speed, transmission capacity.

In this paper we study how power line communications are affected by different coding techniques. We investigate the case of LDPC coding scheme and its application to the PLC channel. The modulation method applied is BPSK while the transmission technique used is OFDM. We study regular LDPC codes, which is the worst case scenario concerning the performance of LDPC codes. The OFDM symbol size is initially defined at 4096 carriers, since certain characteristics of LDPC codes, like their sparse parity check matrix, imply that a larger block size improves their performance.

In the paper, the program motion of an unloading manipulator which is treated as a first integral of the considered system, is investigated. Currently, the popular way to solve such problem is the method of Lagrange multipliers only. In the paper, the authors use another approach, the Principle of Compatibility, in which the required program is treated as one of motion equations of the system.

The differential thermal analysis of the quenched samples revealed decrease in the thermal effects by adding P2O5 and/or MnO2 to the base sample. The X-ray diffraction patterns show the development of nanometric magnetite crystals in a glassy matrix. Heat treatment at 800 C for 2 h, under reducing atmosphere, caused an increase in the amount of the crystallized magnetite with the appearance of minor hematite and Ca2SiO4. The transmission electron microscope revealed a crystallite size in the range 10–30 nm.

We present the ballistic quantum transport of a p-n-p bilayer silicene junction in the presence of spin-orbit coupling and electric field using a four-band model.
