The proportional relationship between the infrared (IR) transmittance of a transparent material and its IR-induced heat transfer can be explained via a simple model. An agreement between the theory and the experimental work was examined by measuring the temperature rising inside a heat-insulated box with glass windows under IR irradiation, where the material of the glass windows was modified from corning glass (CG) to 9 at% Nb-doped TiO2 (TNO) fabricated by sputtering deposition.

Herein, titanium (Ti3+) self-doped strontium titanate (SrTiO3), so-called blue SrTiO3, with a bandgap of 2.6 eV and favorable photocatalytic characteristics was fabricated through a facile and effective method. For electrochemical investigations, the electrophoretic deposition was applied to produce SrTiO3 thin films on (fluorine-doped tin oxide) FTO conductive substrates. The effect of stacked Ga-doped MgxZn1xO (GMZO) thin films being the n-partner buffer layer and of the transparent conducting oxide (TCO) layer on the performance of CdTe thin film solar cells has been investigated. The diversity of the electrical and optical properties of GMZO films versus Ga and Mg doping concentrations suggested the use of low-Ga-doped MgxZn1xO (LGMZO) films as a high resistance transparent buffer layer.

Fluorination and hydrogenation are known as two methods for enhancing crystalline structural and electrical properties of ZnO material. The ZnO thin films normally require a low resistivity and a high transmittance for using as high-performance transparent electrodes in optoelectronic applications. Nb-doped TiO2 thin films were fabricated by co-sputtering of TiO2 doped 6%wt by Nb2O5and Nb targets. The anatase polycrystalline thin films were obtained by post-annealing at 350oC in vacuum atmosphere. The electrical properties of the film were determined by the Hall method using standard clove-leaf geometry.
