This investigation has been done on the basis of qualitative and quantitative data collected from primary sources and explored the differential perception of extent of usefulness of development programmes of the tribal agricultural labourers. The greatest number of respondents with high level of perception was observed in Kurichiya community. The Paniya community lie in between the Kattunaikan and Kurichiya community in their level of perception. The high level of perception is owed to their better mass media exposure, awareness about the developmental programmes and political orientation.

Migration had a significant impact on the livelihood of tribes people. This had also affected the existing agriculture situation of tribal areas. The study revealed that more than half of the tribal migrants had high livelihood capital index after migration. Immense increase in physical capital of tribes people due to migration was obvious from study results.

This paper tries to examine the media habits among women organic farmers, to know the time given to each media by women and to find out the popular media among women. For the present research multi stage sampling design was used. The sample consists of 122 women farmers and the Pre-tested questionnaire was used for collection of information. This study was conducted in Adilabad, Khammam and Warangal districts of Telangana. Ex post-facto research design was followed in this study, since different variables chosen for the study had already occurred. An effort was made to document the indigenous technology of tribal farmers. Agriculture is the main livelihood option for the tribal of the district, which is characterised by small land-holdings, upland terrain, traditional cultivation practices, limited irrigation, poor water conservation measures, low productivity, limited crop diversification and low yields of food grains.
