Type of vehicles

The automobile industry is a fast developing industry. From the later 18th century, when the first automobile was put on road, this industry has developed tremendously. Now there are thousands of factories all over the world manufacturing numerous type of automobile. The automobile engines are also being used in engine powered machines for agriculture, construction and manufacturing processes. Various types of small engines are also being used in lawn movers, power saws, snow removers and similar equipments.

The research design adopted to address this problem utilised mixed data collection methodologies. In order to determine what was happening in the industry as a whole, a specially designed survey was conducted utilising both web-based and traditional paper-based instruments. This provided valuable quantitative data about the rate of uptake, types of companies and so on. To complement this, a focus group of selected representatives within the industry was conducted to delve more deeply into motivations behind the decision to adopt the technology and the perceived benefits derived from it.

Using CAE tools, ideal type of contact and meshing elements have been proposed to achieve results closer to the experimental results. The analytical method for static analysis of the leaf springs has also been described. CAE results have been compared with experimental and analytical results for validation.

Many automotive EMC problems are attributed to “bad ground” connections. Bad ground seems to be the cause of many problems in all types of electrical circuits.
