This paper proposes a model reference adaptive control (MRAC) design for vehicle active suspension systems with unknown spring stiffness and damping coefficients with the aim of improving the performance of suspension systems. A mathematical model of a half-car active suspension system is first presented, then a reference model of a half-car suspension system that utilizes the skyhook damping concept is proposed.

Mangrove forests, typically found along tropical and subtropical coastlines, have a crucial role in preventing coastal erosion, mitigating the effects of wave actions, and safeguarding coastal habitats. This study utilized PlanetScope mangrove forests and a Combined Mangrove Recognition Index (CMRI), which was suitable for detecting mangrove cover along the coast of Tien Yen district with an overall accuracy of over 93.0% and a Kappa coefficient greater than 0.90 for the selected years.

This study focuses on monitoring the variation of surface soil moisture (0- 1 cm) and ground soil moisture (0÷1 m) in the soil in Dak Nong province using Sentinel-1 radar images received in December 2017. Active radar signals utilized in this method were sent and received using short wave pulses. The intensity of the received signal is compared to determine the scattering coefficient of the surface.

This article introduces a method which could quickly delineate short-circuit fault location by establishing the corresponding matrix between nodes on grid and short circuit current value. A 22kV Daklak distribution grid – E471 line is studied. A big data of input as load, source, season coefficient, utilization coefficient and all four types of short circuit have been considered and calculated in detail.

In wastewater treatment, scientific and practical models utilizing numerical computational techniques such as artificial neural networks (ANNs) can significantly help to improve the process as a whole through adsorption systems. In the modeling of the adsorption efficiency for heavy metals from wastewater, some kinetic models have been used such as pseudo first-order and second-order. The present work develops an ANN model to forecast the adsorption efficiency of heavy metals such as zinc, nickel, and copper by extracting experimental data from three case studies.

The present investigation entitled, Phenotypic and Genotypic path coefficient analysis Studies in Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Badnapur, Dist- Jalna (VNMKV, Parbhani) ( M.S.) during Rabi season of 2019-20. The exploration of genetically variable accession or genotypes is the key source of germplasm conservation and potential breeding material for the future use. The highly divergence group of cultivars provides an opportunity to breeders for developing superior and new varieties considering their quality traits for direct commercial utilization.

This study empirically examines the situation of country’s strategic planning to get achieved by utilizing the available resources and the association between capital and labor, natural-gas (NG) consumptions, and exports of the country. The current study is utilizing time-series data from the year 1980 to 2018. In order to confirm the cointegration Johansen Cointegration technique has been used while short-run and long-run coefficients are estimated by applying ARDL bound test.

The present study was planned to assess antimicrobial properties of cow urine distillate. A total of six cow urine distillates comprising of five commercially available and one prepared in the laboratory were used in present study. All these six cow urine distillates were coded as C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and P. The phenol coefficient of all six cow urine distillates was evaluated against S. aureus and E. coli. The phenol coefficients of C4 and C5 against S. aureus and E. coli were 0.04 ± 0.00 and 0.03 ± 0.00 respectively.

Sesamum (Sesamum indicum L) is the most cultivated oil crop in India. It has great diversity across the Indian biota. The existing variability would be utilized for the commercial purpose of sesame. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the morphological characterization and variability available in the sesame genotypes available in Tamil Nadu. Fifteen sesame genotypes were grown during Rabi Summer 2018 at Agricultural College and Research Institute, Kudumiyanmalai (TNAU) for the estimation of genotypic and phenotypic coefficient of variation along with heritability and genetic advance.

The present investigation was to study the molecular diversity of twelve cotton genotypes, in order to select the suitable divergent parent for heterosis breeding. Totally, 55 primers were used to diversify these genotypes and 40 pairs showed clear, scorable and unambiguous bands. Out of 40, 25 primer pairs (62.55 %) were found to be polymorphic and 15 found to be monomorphic. The average number of alleles per locus was 1.8. The similarity coefficient ranged from 0.56 to 1.00 with high dissimilarity coefficient of 0.44 for the genotypes TCH 1777 with MCU 13 and TSH 0499 with SVPR 4.

The experimental materials consisted of 49 rice genotypes. The experiment was conducted under saline-alkali soil (pH = 8.9; EC = 2.21dSm-1 ; ESP = 45%) in randomized complete block design with three replications. In each block 49 entries were accommodated. The spacing between rows to row and plant to plant were 20 cm and 15 cm, respectively. Length of row was 5m and 3 rows of each entry were planted in a plot. The nursery was planted after the period of 30 days. The yield and yield contributing traits were utilized for estimation of correlation coefficients.
