In this study, the extraction of chlorogenic acid from Vietnamese green coffee beans was optimized using the response surface methodology. A second-order polynomial model with three important variables (liquid-to-solid ratio, temperature, and extraction time) was used.

Cash holding is an important decision that affects many other choices in a firm. Previous studies have revealed a range of factors affecting cash holdings, but little is known about a macro variable: air pollution, which is quite a pressing issue recently and globally. This study examines the association between air pollution and cash holdings using a sample of listed firms in Vietnam, a developing country that has a worrisome level of air pollution.

Salinity intrusion poses significant challenges to coastal regions worldwide. Reliable salinity prediction models can provide valuable information to mitigate the impact and influence of salinity intrusion. However, their accuracy relies mainly on the selected input variables and used optimal models. This study employs the Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA) algorithm to evaluate input variable importance and select the most reliable salinity prediction model.

Exports has played an important role in economic growth in most countriesand territories. The article uses a panel data regression model to analyze the growth of ten provinces in Red River Delta (Vietnam) in the period 2005-2020. The research result shows that there are factors that positively affect the economic growth of Red River Delta, including investment capital (variable LnI), labor (variable LnL), exports (variable LnEx) and price index (variable CPI).

This examination explores the effect of foreign direct investment on the supply chain management and balance of payment in Iraq market. Guava (Psidium guajava L; Myrtaceae) popularly known as “apple of tropics” is an important fruit crop of India. It is largely a self-pollinated crop, but crosspollination also does occur. This results in a large variability in the seedling population. Among cultivars, substantial variation exists in terms of growth pattern, yielding behavior, fruit characters (peel, shape etc.) and physio-chemical composition, aroma, pulp to seed ratio, seed characters. Assessment of variability can be achieved through morphological characters, chemical composition and by biotechnological tools.

A database consisting of 23 tripeptides was used to study the quantitative relationships between electric surface potential descriptors and antioxidant activity QESARs. The important structural descriptors SaaNH_acnt, SsOH_acnt, SaaN, SaaN_acnt, SsssCH, SaaaC, SsNH3p, SdO, SdO_acnt were selected for constructing the linear models QESARs with genetic algorithm. The best 4-variable linear model QESARlinear including the structural descriptors SaaN, SdO, SdO_acnt and SsOH_acnt was constructed. The quality QESARlinear was exhibited in statistical values R2 fitness of 97.
