Via empirical modeling

This study aims to examine the interaction effect of eWOM on online purchase intention and brand trust toward purchase intention at the Uniqlo fashion online store. The role of the mediation of satisfaction is vestigated. A quantitative approach was utilized to gather data via online surveys to bolster the suggested model. A total of 186 participants were included in the sample, chosen through non-probabilistic convenience sampling methods, and provided with instructions to answer the survey questions.

This paper investigates several key challenges faced by oil-rich countries regarding their economic growth and development. First, it discusses how to determine currency overvaluation for these countries (if any). To determine the overvaluation, the real exchange rate (RER) is calculated and the Balassa–Samuelson effect is estimated via a regression model. Next, the study presents an empirical model for assessing the impact of oil rent on economic growth in the context of currency overvaluation and the institutional quality in every country.

In the present article, we address the question that how important role do the Quantum Mechanic (QM) and Molecular Mechanics (MM) forces play in ligand docking on protein, via the use semi-quantum relaxation approach (SQRA) using different forces, e.g. quantum, Van der Waals and Coulomb ones, in the process of ligand - protein docking. The QM approximation is applied to calculate the QM forces of neighbor protein-atoms acting on ligands. The L-J 6-12 empirical potential model and Coulomb rule are applied to calculate the forces from the rest protein-atoms on each ligand - atom.

Although there is an extensive body of research concerned with anaphora resolution (e.g. (Fox, 1987; Grosz et al., 1995)), event anaphora has been widely neglected. This paper describes the results of an empirical study regarding event reference. The experiment investigated event anaphora in narrative discourse via a sentence completion task. The results of the experiment suggest that the discourse structure established by an explanation or elaboration relation has an influence on whether the last mentioned event, previously mentioned events or a complex event is preferably referred to.

We present a technique for automatic induction of slot annotations for subcategorization frames, based on induction of hidden classes in the EM framework of statistical estimation. The models are empirically evalutated by a general decision test. Induction of slot labeling for subcategorization frames is accomplished by a further application of EM, and applied experimentally on frame observations derived from parsing large corpora. In total, the model can generate expected excess corporate bond returns in four ways. First, through the dependence of credit spreads (or, equivalently, default intensities) on default-free term structure factors. Second, because the risk of common or systematic changes in credit spreads across firms is priced. Third, via a risk premium on firm-specific credit spread changes, and, fourth, due to a risk premium on the default jump. 1 Empirically, we find that all these terms contribute to the expected excess corporate bond return, except for the risk of firm-specific credit spread changes.
