This study aimed to assess the effects of simulated microgravity (SMG) on senescent human fibroblasts (HFs). The HFs were treated with 150 µM H2O2 in a culture medium for 90 minutes for senescent induction. The senescent HFs were induced SMG for 72 hours by a Gravity simulator, while the control group was treated in the same CO2 incubator.

The aim of our in vitro study was to assess the potential effect of BPF on H295R cells mitochondrial activity, metabolic activity, membrane integrity, lysosomal function, and testosterone synthesis. Adrenocortical carcinoma cells were cultivated during 24 h in the presence of BPF (0.1, 0.5, 1, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 300, 500 μM). Exposure doses of BPF caused a significant decrease of mitochondrial activity starting from 1 μM, we observed a slight increase in mitochondrial activity at the lowest concentration (0.1 μM).

This in vitro study was aimed to assess the effects of Thymus vulgaris L. and Origanum vulgare L. essential oils (EOs) on cell viability and enzymatic antioxidative system in yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of Cobalt chloride (CoCl2) on cardiac mitochondrial function in an in vitro model. In the study, H9C2 cardiomyocytes were cultured in a medium containing different concentrations of CoCl2. Cell viability, cardiolipin content, mitochondrial function, and mitochondrial oxidative stress were assessed by using Cell Counting Kit-8 and suitable fluorescence kits.

In this study, we compared the pollen quantity, viability and in vitro pollen germination of M1 and M2 type flowers of nine longan genotypes. Objective of the research was to validate the potential of Syzygium aromaticum and Kaempheria galanga against biofilm formation and plasmid borne drug resistance exhibited by Pseudomonas spp. Antimicrobial property of S.aromaticum and K.galanga on P.aeruginosa culture was assessed using the agar well diffusion method. A study was carried out on semen of nine healthy mature breeding bulls (3 each of Gir, Surti and Murrah breed) to evaluate the correlations of their fresh sperm quality attributes to those of frozen thawed semen assessed both by subjective method and objective technique using Biovis CASA.
