The article proposes solutions to orient FDI with the goals of sustainable economic development in Vietnam. By qualitative methods and partly by quantitative methods. Combined with scientific research methods such as: aggregated statistical method, synthetic method to make general assessment of research problem; Comparative method to evaluate between periods, the authors proposed five solutions policy of linking FDI with the goal of sustainable economic development of Vietnam to 2025, vision 2035.

The aim of this paper is to test three incremental models on United Arab Emirates budgeting for the period of 1972-2010. The models are the magnitude of change, stability, and budget revenue. The data was obtained from ministry of finance’s publication entitled Leading Financial Visions: 40 Years of Achievements. The findings confirm the use of incremental budgeting by the decision makers in UAE. Environmental factors seem to have an impact on budgetary outcomes.

This paper attempts to investigate whether environmental impacts, would increase or decrease with trade liberalization. Trade expansion, that is, Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between EU (European Union) and Indonesia causes environmental damage in Indonesia. This paper makes an attempt to explore the echoes of the vision of Hindu philosophy in the selected works of T. S. Eliot. The works of Eliot such as his primary essay “Tradition and the Individual Talent,” and his primary poems such as “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock,” “Gerontion,” The Waste Land, “Ash Wednesday,” “A Song for Simeon” and Four Quartets are under scrutiny in this paper. Eliot’s primary texts echo the vision of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad-Gita and the Patanjali Yoga Sutras of the Hindu (Vedic) philosophy.

Matching 3D objects by their similarity is a fundamental problem in computer vision, computer graphics and many other fields. The main challenge in object matching is to find a suitable shape representation that can be used to accurately and quickly discriminate between similar and dissimilar shapes. In this paper we present a new volumetric descriptor to represent 3D objects. The proposed descriptor is used to match objects under rigid transformations including uniform scaling.
