The current paper aims to apply the Internet of Things technology (IoT) in designing an automatic system for measuring and monitoring important parameters of aquaculture ponds such as temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen (DO).

In this paper, we study an integration of temperature and pH sensors into the system to collect and monitor water quality parameters in aquaculture using a combination of edge computing (EC), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet-of-Things (IoT). We develop and deploy a model using edge computing and a Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm to forecast the aquaculture water quality at the network's edge.

The study was carried out to observe the effect of post harvest application of sucrose on extension of vase life of cut rose cv. Tajmahal. The data was recorded on the physical and physiological parameters on every alternate day. The flowers were held in different concentrations of sucrose solutions with flowers harvested at two stages i.e. tight bud stage and first petal unfurl stage.

The experiment was conducted to investigate the embryonic development of discus (Symphysodon aequifasiatus) and determine the time required for major egg developmental stages and hatching. Regular observations were made using optical microscope and the images were recorded using a digital camera attached to the microscope. Important water quality parameters were kept optimal for the hatching of discus eggs.

Lentic systems are a diverse set of inland freshwater habitats (Lakes and ponds) exist across the globe and provide essential resources and habitats for both terrestrial and aquatic organisms. The current work was intended to evaluate the quality of the selected ponds (Pond 1, 2 and 3) in and around Vellore district, TamilNadu. The water samples were collected to determine the physical and chemical parameters during every month in the year 2019. Water parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, Alkalinity, electrical conductivity, Chloride, Sulphate, Nitrate, Ca, Cl was studied.

A study was carried out at the experimental animal husbandry farm in Can Tho University form October 2005 to March 2006. Water sampling was taken at the high and low tidal in the wet season and dry season. The results showed that water environment of the experimental farm is severely polluted. The average organic amount (COD), hydrogen sulfide, N-NH4+ and total Coliform were 878.9 mg/L, 32 mg/L, 70.4 mg/L and 2.78*105 MPN/100 mL respectively.
