In this paper, we considered the propagation wave in transversely isotropic piezoelastic medium based on the nonlocal strain gradient theory. Two kinds of scale parameters, namely, the nonlocal parameter and the strain gradient parameter are introduced to account for the size effect of mechanical properties of nanostructures.

The aim of this research is to improve the reliability of the dynamic formula. This research program will concentrate on the proposal of a correction factor to adjust for this dynamic component similar to the damping parameter used in the Wave Equation Analysis and validate its reliability experimentally and theoretically. Similarly, the issue of the variation in the hammer energy delivered to pile needs to be improved by the adoption of new technology and validate experimentally.

This article deals with the thermoelastic interaction in a three-dimensional homogeneous and isotropic viscoelastic medium under the Dual-phase-lag model of generalized thermoelasticity. The resulting non-dimensional coupled equations are applied to a specific problem of a half-space whose surface is traction-free and is subjected to a time-dependent thermal shock.

Semi-submersible drilling platforms are huge bulk structures for extracting the oil products from great depth of seas. For such bulk structures, the Morrison’s equations are no longer valid for determining the loads applied to the semi-submersible drilling platforms.

This is the second in a series of three papers in which we initiate the study of very rough solutions to the initial value problem for the Einstein vacuum equations expressed relative to wave coordinates. By very rough we mean solutions which cannot be constructed by the classical techniques of energy estimates and Sobolev inequalities. In this paper we develop the geometric analysis of the Eikonal equation for microlocalized rough Einstein metrics. This is a crucial step in the derivation of the decay estimates needed in the first paper. ...
