Keeping in view of these facts, the present investigation was carried out to find out the response of wedge grafting in different months of the year to assess the success of wedge grafting under shade net and poly house conditions.

An experiment was conducted onwedge grafting time, growing conditions on subsequent growth of grafted plants in guava (Psidium guajava L.) during 2014-2015.Wedge grafting was done during August (M1), September (M2), October (M3), November (M4), December (M5), January (M6) and February (M7)months under poly house and 50% shade net conditions. Wedge grafting in the month of August under poly house condition gave better response with respect to number of leaves per sprout, leaf area per sprout and leaf chlorophyll content.

Effect of scion cultivar and grafting season on success of wedge grafting in guava (Psidium guajava L.) was studied using four seasons namely July (M1), August (M2), September (M3) and October (M4) of grafting and two different scion varieties (Lalit V1 and Shweta V2).
