This study was aimed at investigating the effect of crude oil contaminated feeds on selected serum enzymes and electrolyte levels in Albino wistar rats. Albino wistar rats weighing between 180g to 200g were obtained from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho, OyoState and used for the study. The animals were grouped into five study groups with six (6) animals in each group. This study investigated the anti-diabetic effect of ethanolic bark extract of Khaya senegalensis in Alloxan-induced diabetic albino Wistar rats. Sixty (60) female albino rats were randomly placed into six (6) study groups of ten (10) animals designated as; nondiabetic control (NDC), diabetic control (DC), and diabetic extract treated groups (DSB1, DSB2, and DSB3) receiving varying extract concentration of 100mg/kg, 200mg/kg, and 400mg/kg body weight respectively.

The yearlings of Rohu (Labeo rohita) was fed with commercial pellated feed as T1(Control), feed incorporated with Lactobacillus sporogenes @ 4% as T2, Saccharomyces cerevisiae @ 4% as T3 and both Lactobacillus sporogenes @2% and Saccharomyces cerevisiae @ 2% as T4.The experiment was designed for 120 days in the cement tanks. Feeding was done with probiotics and without probiotics at alternate 15 days. Sampling was done at an interval of 15 days. The samples were analysed to determine the weight gain %, specific growth rate %, FCR, FER and TPC of probiotic microbes.

This paper deals with using stainless steel reducing slag (SSRS), a byproduct generated from stainless steel making process, as a cement substitute in production of soil-based controlled low-strength material (CLSM). In the CLSM mixture, surplus soil and river sand were blended well together with a sand-soil proportion of 6:4 by volume in order to produce fine aggregate. Totally, twelve mixtures were prepared for experiment when we changed in turn percentages of Portland cement replacement with SSRS of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% by weight and the water-to-binder ratio of 3.4, 3.6, and 3.8.

The aim of this investigation was to examine the histological appearance of adipose tissue in patients with DD, with particular focus on inflammatory signs.
