To describe imaging characteristics of rectal cancer on high-resolution T2-weighted MRI in predicting local staging of rectal cancer. A cross-sectional descriptive study aimed at evaluating the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and correlation coefficient of MRI in staging T (tumor) and N (lymph node involvement) in patients with rectal cancer.

The lotus plant is easy to find, inexpensive, non-toxic and accepted by many Vietnamese people as a means of treating diabetes, and yet data on the mechanism or even effectiveness of lotus leaf on diabetes mellitus was not known. An experiment entitled Evaluation of cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L. var. cerasiforme) genotypes for yield and quality parameters was conducted in the Department of Vegetable Science, College of Horticulture, Bengaluru, Karnataka during the year 2018-19. In present study, twenty one cherry tomato genotypes were evaluated for yield and quality parameters. Among different cherry tomato genotypes, maximum number of fruits per cluster was recorded in COHBT (8.75). Genotype COHBT-198 recorded maximum average fruit weight (43.90 g).

This paper presents the solution to problems of fuzzy ranking Vietnamese documents using approach of Hedge Algebra based on envaluating an accordance of found documents by heuristic criteria. These criteria firstly are evaluated by degree of importance (weight) and then are combined following some aggregation operator to define final evaluation unique number, that will be used for sorting the documents. The experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed solution.

Clinical Presentation The presenting signs and symptoms include hematuria, abdominal pain, and a flank or abdominal mass. This classic triad occurs in 10–20% of patients. Other symptoms are fever, weight loss, anemia, and a varicocele (Table 90-4). The tumor can also be found incidentally on a radiograph. Widespread use of radiologic cross-sectional imaging procedures (CT, ultrasound, MRI) contributes to earlier detection, including incidental renal masses detected during evaluation for other medical conditions.

Carcinoma of the Ampulla of Vater This tumor arises within 2 cm of the distal end of the common bile duct, and is mainly (90%) an adenocarcinoma. Locoregional lymph nodes are commonly involved (50%), and the liver is the most frequent site for metastases. The commonest clinical presentation is jaundice, and many patients also have pruritus, weight loss, and epigastric pain. Initial evaluation is performed with an abdominal ultrasound to assess vascular involvement, biliary dilatation, and liver lesions. This is followed by a CT scan, or MRI and especially MRCP.

Approach to the Patient: Hepatocellular Carcinoma History and Physical The history is important in evaluating putative predisposing factors, including a history of hepatitis or jaundice, blood transfusion, or use of intravenous drugs. A family history of HCC or hepatitis should be sought, and a detailed social history taken to include job descriptions for industrial exposure to possible carcinogenic drugs as well as contraceptive hormones.
