In this study, we present an innovation method to synthesize ZnO nanoparticles colloidal solution by Zn2+ precipitation, and using COS and COS-I2 as a stabilizer agent to replace high molecular weight chitosan in previous studies. [17,18,24] It was favorable due to COS with small Mw did not precipitate at alkaline pH. Thus, ZnO/COS and ZnO/COS-I2 composite nanomaterials were prepared in this work will be oriented to use as antimicrobial agrochemicals, and post-harvest preservation.

Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) in the form of thin-walled plate structures are widely used in different engineering applications due to their outstanding features such as: high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent fatigue and corrosion resistance, etc. This study focuses on the local buckling resistance of pultruded FRP columns by experimental work.
