The experiment was taken up to elicit the information on performance of different ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) varieties under shade net condition. Ten varieties of ginger were evaluated in RBD with three replications during kharif season of 2015-16 at Horticultural College and Research Institute, Dr. Y. S. R. H. U, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. The growth performance of ten varieties indicated significant variation at all the stages of crop growth under shade net condition.

On-farm trials were conducted at farmer’s fields in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh during Kharif, 2016 and 2017 seasons to evaluate the yield in machine planted rice in comparison to manual transplanting. Pooled mean of two years indicated that machine planting recorded significantly higher number of tillers (23.46), higher number of productive tillers (18.02) resulting in higher yields (6686.8 kg/ha). A field experiment entitled “Carbon sequestration and soil health under long term soil fertility management in rice-rice cropping system" was carried out under field conditions during kharif and rabi seasons of 2016-2017 and 2017- 2018 at Andhra Pradesh Rice Research Institute and Regional Agricultural Research Station, Maruteru, West Godavari district in the ongoing All India Coordinated Research Project on Long Term Fertilizer Experiment Project.

The present investigation was carried out at Horticulture Research Station, Dr. Y. S. R Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari district during kharif season, 2018.Based on D2 values, the twenty-nine hybrids of okra grouped into six clusters. Among the sixclusters, cluster III comprised the maximum number of hybrids (6) followed by cluster II (5), cluster V (5), cluster VI (5), cluster I (4) and cluster IV (4). The maximum inter cluster distance was observed between clusters I and VI (D2 =65.06) followed by clusters II and VI (D2 =62.51).

A field experiment was conducted at College of Horticulture, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh during late kharif season of 2010 with an objective to evaluate the package of organic and biological sources of nutrients vis-à-vis inorganic fertilizers on yield, quality and economics of ashwagandha.
