The study revealed that majority (68.75%) of the farmers belonged to middle age group, had medium annual income (58.75%), belong to medium social cohesiveness(81.25%), had medium mass medium access (72.50%), had medium knowledge on climate change(83.75%). Having more percentage of respondents on medium and high level of fatalism as it was found in result hinted that there is need to develop competencies of farmers on consequences of climate change through the services of agricultural extensionists.

Nosocomial fungal infections in neonatal intensive care units are a serious emerging problem. However, the role of fungal bio-aerosols as the source of such infections has not been explored in the NICU setting. Hence, this study was done to know the fungal composition of aerosols in NICU as the source of neonatal nosocomial infections. 1m3 of NICU air was sampled fortnightly over 12 months onto SDA with chloramphenicol using a sieve type air sampler.

Dengue is an acute viral infection with fatal complications and noted as endemic in India. Since the clinical presentation of dengue is nonspecific, dengue diagnosis would benefit from a sensitive rapid diagnostic test (RDT) to reduce the disease burden and with supportive therapy reduces morbidity and mortality. Platelet count is the only accessory test for diagnosis of dengue infection in the peripheral laboratories. Therefore, in this study association of platelet counts and Ns1 antigen, (IgM, IgG) antibody is evaluated in dengue infections.

Road accident related fatal risk differs from air pollution related risk. The latter is to a large extent involuntary and beyond the responsibility and control of those exposed to it. In addition, while taking the risk of a traffic accident, driving itself offers a direct personal benefit. Splenic Abscesses Splenic abscesses are much less common than liver abscesses. The incidence of splenic abscesses has ranged from 0.14% to 0.7% in various autopsy series. The clinical setting and the organisms isolated usually differ from those for liver abscesses. The degree of clinical suspicion for splenic abscess needs to be high, as this condition is frequently fatal if left untreated. Even in the most recently published series, diagnosis was made only at autopsy in 37% of cases.
