In India, oilseed Brassica are grown over an area of about 6.3 million hectares with an annual production of 7.92 million tones with an average yield of 1304 kg/ha whereas in Rajasthan it was still 1422kg/ha. The severe attack of many diseases not only deteriorates the quality of the seed, but also reduces the oil content considerably. Among the diseases, white rust caused by Albugo candida (Pers. Ex Hook) O. Kuntze, is an important disease of a wide variety of Brassica crops. Its infection causes disfiguring white pustules on leaves, flowers stems and pod leading to yield losses.

In this series observation were also made on impact of disease on growth and development of a plant internally and externally. Small creamy white spot on cotyledons can be seen. Downy growth of fungus appears on leaves, stem and on stage heads formed by white rust pathogen, Albugo candida. Mixed infection of white rust and downy mildew is common on stage heads.

White rust caused by a fungus Albugo candida, is a destructive disease of many economically important species of Brassica, to control this resistance breeding is important .Marker validation is useful for testing reported markers in determining the target phenotypes in autonomous populations and dissimilar genetic backgrounds and also involves testing the reliability of marker to predict the phenotype, which defines whether or not a marker could be used in routine screening for MAS.

Powdery mildew and Rust are major diseases of pea of worldwide distribution. Powdery mildew and Rust is an airborne disease. Powdery mildew is a particularly damaging in late sowing or in late maturity varieties. It is caused by Erysisphe pisi. The disease can cause 20-50% yield losses, reducing total yield biomass, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, plant height and number of nodes. The disease also affects green pea quality. Pea rust is characterized by the appearance of two types of symptoms.

In researches were investigate mycobiota of essential oil plants which spread the 7 economic regions of Azerbaijan and 161 species of fungi involved in their formation. It became clear that, among of recorded fungi widely is spread phytopathogens. Fungi which characterized as a true biotrophs causes diseases such as brown decay, white decay, rust, riding, floury dew, phytotor, plasmapore, peronospora and oth. on the studied essential oil plants.

Western white pine (WWP, Pinus monticola Douglas ex D. Don) is of high interest in forest breeding and conservation because of its high susceptibility to the invasive disease white pine blister rust (WPBR, caused by the fungus Cronartium ribicola J. C. Fisch).

Indian mustard (Brassica juncea) is the most important and major edible oil seed crop. White rust [Albugo candida (Pers. Ex.Lev.) Kuntze] is the important disease which can cause major yield losses in Indian Mustard. This study shows comparative assessment of white rust disease index (%), white rust disease severity and white rust disease incidence on leaves as well as on the inflorescence in the improved varieties of Indian Mustard.

Albugo candida causing white rust of rapeseed-mustard is a highly variable fungus and cause great economic losses. In this study 44 A. candida isolates belongs to 17 different states of India has been used for the pathogenicity diversity. Symptomatology of the pathogen i.e. pustule pattern, pustule size and pustule colour has taken as criteria for the pathogenicity diversity. All the 44 A. candida isolates were inoculated on susceptible Brassica juncea cultivar Varuna for the study.

Field integration of various fungicides, phytoextracts and essential oils (alone and in combination) as seed treatments and foliar sprays significantly reduced mustard white rust disease caused by Albugo candida (Pers.) Kuntze, over untreated control, along with enhanced seed and straw yields and better ICBR. Based on performance merit, the best treatments were Metalaxyl 35%SD- ST @ 6g/kg + Metalaxyl 4%+ Mancozeb 68%WP- FS @ 0.25%>Metalaxyl 4%+ Mancozeb 68%WP -FS @ 0.25% + Azadirachta indica @ 20%>Metalaxyl 4%+ Mancozeb 68%WP- FS @ 0.
