In addition, the results also showed that hypoxanthine could be considered as an independent quality index such as the K index. The quality of Pacific white shrimp could be classified into four grades: excellent, good, moderately acceptable, and just acceptable basing on the results of sensory and biochemical evaluation.

Effects of red Y2O3:EU3+ phosphor in silicone lens on the color rendering ability of white led lamps
In this study, a novel compound is synthesized by adding the red Y2O3:Eu3+ dopant to formal phosphor packages, and used as a component in multi-chip white LED lamps (MCW-LEDs). It was found that this solution can enhance the color rendering index (CRI) of MCW-LEDs that have correlated color temperature (CCT) of 8500 K to the value of more than 86.

The first case presented at Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with an 18-hour-history of irritability, vomiting, and abdominal distension. With high white blood cell count and C-reactive protein level, the baby was initially diagnosed with neonatal sepsis. The ultrasound performed on day 3 after hospitalization found peritonitis but not seen appendicitis.

In this study, the sensory, microbiological, and biochemical qualities were used to examine the quality of Pacific white shrimps (Litopenaeus vannamei) preserved at 0°C during a 10-day period. The sensory quality was evaluated by a quality index (QI) that resulted from a quality index method (QIM) scheme. Meanwhile, the total viable count (TVC) and K-value were used to assess the microbiological and biochemical qualities of the shrimp.

Managing the color uniformity of WLEDs means controlling the size and concentration of ZnO. With the concentration of 10% ZnO, the lumen output of LEDs reaches the highest values. Meanwhile, when the concentration and size of ZnO are 14% and 500 nm respectively, ∆CCT is reduced to the lowest value. Based on the manufacturers' requirements, the most appropriate ZnO concentration and particle size can be determined. However, if requirements include both lumen and color uniformity, the right choice is 14% concentration with 500 nm particle size of ZnO.

In this paper, the rst issue presented and analyzed by several experiments is the in- uence of the distance between phosphor layers in the dual-layer and triple-layer remote package on luminous ux and color rendering property. During the simulation, it was realized that it was possible to create a suitable distance to create higher quality white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) by adjusting the distance between the phosphor layers.

A study was conducted to evaluate the reaction of tomato genotypes to root knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita race - 3) and the nematode reproduction were studied in the nematode infested pot culture experiment. Forty tomato genotypes were subjected for screening. At 65 days after nematode inoculation, whole plants were uprooted, washed and ranked for root galling and egg mass indices on a 1 to 5 scales. The plant growth responses viz.

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the effect of season, heat clarification temperature and ripening of cream on the color attributes L [lightness (100: white, 0: black), a (+: red, -: green) and b (+: yellow, -: blue)] and Yellowness and Whiteness Index was observed. It was observed that effect of season was visible on the color value a, b and Yellowness Index of cow ghee and buffalo ghee whereas seasonal variation did not make any significant difference on the color value (L) and Whiteness Index.

The multiple antibiotic resistance (MAR) index values of 0.4 to 0.73 (of each sample collection site) indicated that these isolates were exposed to high risk sources of contamination where antibiotics were commonly used. Conjugation experiments demonstrated the successful transfer of all or part of the resistance phenotypes of shrimp isolates to the human recipient strains.

A study was carried out to evaluate ten grapevine cultivars against root-knot nematode Meloidogyne hapla under polyhouse condition. The cultivars showed varying degree of susceptibility against nematodes in relation to nematode infestation and plant growth parameters. None of the grapevine cultivars used in the study was found to be highly resistant or resistant against M. hapla. Gall index was maximum in cultivar Pusa Navroz (4.8) followed by Sahebi (4.6), Hussaini (4.5) and Thompson seedless (4.0) and they were categorized susceptible to M. hapla.

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of different concentrations of maltodextrine on spry drying of bittergourd powder. The results showed that after spray drying, initially the water activity, water absorption index (WAI), and bulk density were decreased with increase in maltodextrin concentration and water soluble index, pH, ascorbic acid, reducing sugars and whiteness index were increased with increase in maltodextrin concentration.

Indian mustard (Brassica juncea) is the most important and major edible oil seed crop. White rust [Albugo candida (Pers. Ex.Lev.) Kuntze] is the important disease which can cause major yield losses in Indian Mustard. This study shows comparative assessment of white rust disease index (%), white rust disease severity and white rust disease incidence on leaves as well as on the inflorescence in the improved varieties of Indian Mustard.

The objective of this present study was to obtain optimized conditions for calculating cassava starch properties using response surface methodology (RSM). In this study, BoxBehnken response surface design (BBD) was used to optimize cassava starch properties (3 independent process factors at 3 levels with 17 runs) and to evaluate the main, linear and combined effects of cassava starch extraction conditions. The independent process variables selected in this study were sonication temperature (30, 40, 50°C), sonication time (10, 20, 30 min) and solid-liquid ratio (1:10, 1:20, 1:30 g/ml).
