The experiment was a 2x3 factorial design. The first factor was the duck’s growing periods with split phases (5-8 weeks old and 9-12 weeks old) and whole phase (5-12 weeks old). The second factor was the sex of birds, with three treatments, male birds, female birds and balanced for sex.

Wheat is an important staple food crop throughout the globe. India is the second largest producer of wheat after China. Being an agrarian state leading in area and production of wheat in India, Uttar Pradesh holds a prominent place in wheat production. The present study examines the growth and instability in wheat area, production and productivity in Uttar Pradesh state over a period of 1950-51 to 2015-16 and also the study tries to decompose the major factors contributing to growth of wheat production in the state.

This study is an attempt to analyze the performance of agriculture in Chhattisgarh plains zone of Chhattisgarh by growth and stability analysis of major cereals grown in the zone. For comparative study of before and after formation of Chhattisgarh State, the whole time series data was divided into two sub-periods and checked if there is any significance of this on the agricultural production of zone.

Pulses are the primary source of protein for the poor and the vegetarians. Karnataka is one of the important pulse growing states in the country. The supply response of selected pulse crops were computed for a period of 41 years from 1975 to 2016 for the Karnataka state as a whole. Growth in production of total pulses increased significantly over the study period (1975-76 to 2015-16) at national level.

The authors wanted to find out how recent financial crisis influenced performance of Croatian banks measured with ROA, ROE, NIM and Tobin's Q. Having this aim in mind, we have used many bank-specific, industry-specific or structural variables and macroeconomic variables. The analysis refers to 2007-2015 period. The research is conducted using static panel model on a balanced sample of Croatian banks listed on Zagreb Stock Exchange. The results of the analysis show that crisis dummy variable significantly influences performance but its direction is not uniform.

In recent years, the banking activity in Tunisia has been marked by a significant increase in granted loans compared to collected deposits. This disproportionate evolution has led to the accentuation of the tightening of bank liquidity, which negatively affected the liquidity ratio of Tunisian banks. That’s why; this paper's objective is to identify the key determinants of liquidity risk of these banks in order to manage this major risk to avoid both their liquidity drying up and their bankruptcy.

This paper studies the relationship between the risk-free rate and the expected consumption growth. Using the monthly time series data from 2002.01-2017.12, we obtain the following empirical evidences: 1) In the whole period, US supports the positive intertemporal substitution effect and rejects the negative precautionary saving effect. Accordingly, China rejects the positive intertemporal substitution effect and supports the negative precautionary saving effect. 2) In the subsample period 2002.01-2008.

To explore bio-control options available for management of Siam weed, a survey was conducted during the year 2017-18 and 2018-19 in different districts of Tripura, India. During survey, symptoms of leaf blight were observed on leaves of Siam weed. Fungi isolated from infected sample on PDA media shows slow growth covering whole petri plate within 10 days. During incubation period fungal sporulation increases with increase in growth period. Identification of suspected causal agent was Phytophthora which was confirmed based on the morphology.

The qualitative method was used to collect and analyze the data. Both the business and volunteer groups of medicinal plants collection ordinarily base on their accumulated experience. Most of them (76.4%) collect at any period of plant growth stages, 14.7% are interested in the plants’ features when harvesting their bulbs, 39.7% leave collectors take all parts of the plants, or dig up whole trees (35.8%).

Mixed layers grew to depths of 2,500 to 4,000 meters, with a rapid period of growth beginning shortly before noon and lasting for several hours. Significant differences between the mixed-layer temperatures in the basin and outside the basin were observed. Data analyses and models provide evidence that the circulations are highly complex and that relatively weak upper-level synoptic systems had an impact on the local and regional thermally driven flows in the area.
