In this study, moss bag and native moss were the two methods used to evaluate the accumulation of trace elements in air through Barbula Indica. Observations showed that both methods could detect the same elements: Al, Si, P, S, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Br, Rb, Y, Sb, Ba, Pb, and U.

Plant nutrition plays a major role in quantitative and qualitative crop production in bringing sustainability and plants require seventeen essential elements for their normal growth and development. Among these, those elements required smaller in quantity is called micronutrients (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, B, Cl, Mo and Ni). Micronutrients are essentially as important as macronutrients to have better growth, yield and quality in plants.

Structural Characterization of Crystalline and Non-crystalline Materials – A Brief Background of Current Requirements The X-ray powder diffraction technique is a well-established and widely used method for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of various substances in a variety of states (see, for example, [1]). However, in a multi-component mixture with a relatively complicated chemical composition, we frequently find difficulty in identifying the individual chemical constituents by the conventional X-ray powder diffraction method.
