This study focuses mainly on the normal stresses that are caused by applied forces. As a case study, the present work aims at investigating the bi-dimensional contact mechanics of wavy cosinusoidal anisotropic finite planes. To achieve this objective, results on the displacement and stress component are first calculated with the help of the Lekhnitskii formalism.

Effect of metal precursors on polyol synthesis of palladium nanoparticles towards C-N bond formation
In the present work, palladium nanoparticles were synthesized in glycerol following the bottom-up methodology, using Pd(II) and Pd(0) precursors. The as-prepared materials were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), evidencing the formation of zerovalent palladium spheres in the nanosize ranges.

In this work, Ag(Cu)InS2 semiconductor nanoparticles were synthesized via microwave and solvothermal methods. The effects of synthetical parameters on the structure and morphology of the nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, UV–Vis, and EDX. The experimental results reveal that the AgInS2 compound can be crystallized in two different phases, which are tetragonal and orthorhombic.

This research also demonstrates the effectiveness of DHACA compared with the previous studies such as Multi-objectives Genetic Algorithm (MOGA), Simulated Annealing Algorithm based Multi-objectives Genetic Algorithm (SAbased MOGA) on the CSLP. DHACA supports the construction site dynamic planning with constraints on facilities to improve work efficiency.

This uncertainty relates to the spatial variability of the mechanical parameters representing the time-dependent behavior of geological rock formation due to the change in its mineralogy.

Red phosphorus is an important ingredient in the manufacture of pyrotechnic smoke and is likely to be in service for many years. One of the most effective ways to use smoke screens is to protect special vehicles from laser and infrared guidance systems. In this work, the formulation, obscurant and emission characteristics of the smoke composition in smoke devices used in special vehicles were determined and evaluated.

In this work, nano-SiO2 have been used as nanocarriers for loading Ce(III) ions (SiO2@Ce3+). After loading, silane coupling agent has been used to modify these nanocarriers (m-SiO2@Ce3+). Then, these modified nanocarriers were added as green inhibitors into the inner epoxy coating matrix, which was based on the epoxy resin (DER 671X75) and hardener (polyamide Epicure 3125). Morphological study by FE-SEM showed that the spherical nanoparticles (mSiO2@Ce3+) were in size < 100 nm and dispersed rather homogeneously into the polyme matrix.

In this work, gold nanorods (AuNRs) with well-controlled aspect ratios were prepared using a modified seedgrowth method and covered by TiO2 layers through the hydrothermal reaction to improve stability. Integrating TiO2 with plasmonic rod-like gold nanoparticles could enhance their photo activity by the local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect. AuNRs aspect ratios were controlled by varying the amount of seed solution, reducing agents, surfactant (CTAB), and titanium (IV) but oxide.

The study highlights that a the framework model of green construction supply chain in project stadium Gelora Bung Karno which are defined by three phase. The first phase are called “resource” or input with consisting of the needs of the client, master plan project and financing. The second phase are a process. The process consisting of tender, design and construction. The last phase is the “result” or output of the work consisting with handover and maintenance.

This work demonstrated the potential of US for mitigating membrane fouling. However, the integration of the US transducers within the membrane system will be a major challenge for the application of US in membrane cleaning. It is more appropriate that US is used as pre-treatment to the membrane system, the transducers can be placed prior to the coagulant feed line. Further work on the determination of the detailed mechanisms associated with enhancing coagulation would enable optimisation of the system with regard to process, cost and energy efficiency.
