Therefore, it is not a general overview covering all the fields of nanopackaging, but is mainly focused on two topics. The first topic deals with atomic scale devices or circuit requirements, as well as related recent technological developments; for example, surface science engineering and atomic scale interconnects studies.

The VLSP 2021 is the eighth annual international workshop whose campaign was organized at the University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (UIT-VNU-HCM). This was the first time we organized the Speaker Verification shared task with two subtasks SV-T1 and SV-T2. In current e-health research and development there is a need for a broader understanding of the capabilities and resources required for individuals to use and benefit from e-health services, i.e. their e-health literacy. The aim of this study was to develop a new conceptualisation of e-health literacy with consideration of the experiences of a wide range of stakeholders and in alignment with current technologies. Concept mapping was used to generate a comprehensive and grounded model of e-health literacy.

The workshop methodology is explained in detail, with more attention paid to the process followed than to the specific results of the workshop. The paper explains the four stages of the process: preliminary phase and selection of the study area; analysis and diagnosis phase; proposal phase, in which work is performed jointly with a vision of action in the entire neighbourhood; and presentation phase of the results to residents. Finally, some future challenges of this workshop are outlined.

In India, rice, wheat and maize yields per hectare of land have increased three to four fold between 1950 and 2010, mainly due to the adoption of improved agronomic practices. Egg production now ranges between 310–320 per annum per bird. Similarly, feed conversion efficiency in broilers is also at par with developed nations and Indian poultry farmers are now more conscious of the need to increase profits by cutting costs and improving productivity. Balancing of nutrients in poultry rations along with improved mineral supplementation has led to this improved productivity.

Today, research and technology play a decisive role for the European food sector for the development of new products as well as for improved safety measures. In July 2000, DG RTD requested a study on potential future European research priorities in food technology and food safety from the Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS), Joint Research Centre. The study design comprised the involvement of external expertise from industry as well as from academia: The results of the study were derived from two experts workshops held in Sevilla at the IPTS in December 2000 and May 2001.
