Nghiên cứu này tập trung phân tích tác động của trách nhiệm môi trường đến việc quản trị lợi nhuận của các doanh nghiệp thuộc các nền kinh tế mới nổi gồm Brazil, Nga, Ấn Độ, Trung Quốc và Nam Phi. Phương pháp nghiên cứu định lượng được sử dụng để phân tích mẫu nghiên cứu gồm 5.184 quan sát, với dữ liệu thu thập từ Thomson Reuters, Worldscope và World Development Indicators trong giai đoạn từ 2002 đến 2019.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of fossil fuel consumption, economic growth on carbon dioxide emissions in Vietnam. Using an autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL model) on the data during the period over 1985-2013, collected from World Development Indicators, Department of Statistics in Vietnam. Evidence from the study shows the fossil fuel consumption of two years and four years before had, respectively, negative and positive statistically significant impact on this year carbon dioxide emissions.

The purpose of this paper was to empirically assess the impact of oil prices on ASEAN+3 inflation and economic growth. The framework that can be applied to linear dynamic panel data to achieve this goal is the First Difference-Generalized Moment Method (FD-GMM) estimator method. This study used panel data representing ASEAN+3 countries and annual data over the period 2011-2020. The findings of the study indicated that, over the period, increasing oil prices were associated with higher inflation, and higher economic growth in ASEAN+3.

Regression analysis is an important task in civil engineering which depends significantly on knowledge extracted from experimental data. This study develops a computer program and implements the iteratively reweighted least squares (IRLS) used for fitting multiple linear regression models. The capability of the combined model, IRMLR, is demonstrated using two artificial datasets and two real-world applications. The results indicate that the IRMLR model can be a useful tool to assist civil engineers in the task of data modeling.

This paper examines the impact of trade on household income inequality (measured using Gini index) under the condition of disaster (measured using various proxies). The paper uses panel regression on a balanced dataset of 48 countries for 2011-2017 to estimate the impacts, with data combined from World Development Indicators, World Income Inequality Database, and World Risk Report.
