In this work, we have shown that the addition of Zn to nanocrystalline nickel ferrite enhanced its H2 sensing properties, such as sensitivity, response time, and stability. This is explained due to the formation of defects and oxygen vacancies in the crystal structure due to the substitution of Zn ions in place of Ni ions. These defects generated more active sites for H2 gas to interact with, resulting in improved sensing performance.

The highest luminescence product consists of spheroidal and relatively uniform particles with sizes around 0.6-1.0 µm. In this paper, we present one method to determine the band gap energy of ZnO and ZnO:Tb3 materials. ZnO:Tb3 material has prepared by forced hydrolysis method. All samples have zinc oxide hexagonal wurzite structure. The obtained results show that the energy of the band gap depends on Tb3 molar ratio.

In this study, gallium and hydrogen co-doped ZnO (HGZO) thin films were investigated. The films were deposited by sputtering from Ga-doped ZnO (GZO) ceramic target in hydrogen and argon plasma. The as-deposited HGZO films possess enhanced electron mobility of 48.6 cm2 /Vs as compared to that of 39.4 cm2 /Vs of GZO films, sputtered from the same target. Because of insignificant variation in crystallinity, this improvement is attributed to roles of hydrogen in crystalline lattice structure of the films.
