Applying scaffolding to teach reading skills for the first year English major students in Hanoi metropolitan university

The present study aims to investigate the effectiveness of scaffolding in improving students’ reading comprehension skills of the first year English major students in Hanoi Metropolitan University (HNMU). The question of the study is stated: "Whether scaffolding boosts the English reading comprehension skills for the first year English major students in HNMU or not?".
