Association between diuretic use and the risk of vertebral fracture after stroke: A population-based retrospective cohort study

Stroke is a major risk factor for osteoporosis and fractures. No study has evaluated the association between diuretic use and risk of vertebral fracture in stroke patients, although a considerable proportion of stroke patients are prescribed diuretics for hypertension.
