The paper presents the calculations of energy consumption with two plans for a room: i) Vapor compression refrigeration (Baseline); and ii) Absorption chiller (Alternative). Then, analysis of CO2 emissions of the plans has been carried out in this work, also. The results show the quantitative data on the potential for energy efficiency and CO2 emissions as well as the operating costs of the absorption refrigeration.
