Cultural and physiological requirements of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides causing anthracnose of mango

Mango is regarded as „king of fruits‟ and is grown mainly in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Anthracnose is one of the devastating disease, known to cause yield loss from 10 to 80 per cent in orchard and also being post-harvest disease, it cause an economical loss to the tune of 15-20 per cent. The disease is caused by the fungal pathogen Colletotrichum gloeosprorioides.
