Detection of beta-lactam resistance in piscean Escherichia coli using combination disc method and multiplex PCR

The present study was undertaken with an objective of phenotypic and molecular detection of beta-lactam antimicrobial resistance in E. coli isolated from freshwater fish in Andhra Pradesh.
