Effect of different jute (Corchorus olitorius L.) based cropping systems on soil quality under farmers’ field condition in the eastern Indo-Gangetic plain

The present investigation was carried out to assess the impact of different jute based cropping systems on soil quality in farmers’ fields. Soil samples (georeferenced) were collected at 0-0.2 m depth from the farmers’ fields following the jute based cropping systems for more than five years. Soil quality was evaluated in terms of physico-chemical and biological attributes of soils.
