Energy balance study of combined carbonization and liquefaction of coconut shell

The work was carried out to study the combine carbonization and liquefaction of coconut shell (Cocus nucifera) biomass in order to produce the charcoal and bio crude oil. The characterization was carried out before and after carbonization process in terms of proximate analysis, higher calorific value and bulk density.
