Period 54- Test correction. I-Objectives Teacher corrects the test to help students find out what their mistakes Skill developed : writing and reading II-Preparation T- Test papers , T’s plan Ss- Notebooks III- Teaching process 1-Organization 2’ 2-Oral test Test in the lesson 3- New lesson 35’ Period 55- Unit 9: At home and away. Lesson 1: A holiday in Nha trang( A1) I. Objectives.
After the lesson Ss will be able to get acquanted with the simple past form,,Ask ,answer about the holiday. -To drill Ss speaking and listening skills. II. Preparation: Tape + casstte player, text book , work sheet. III. Teaching procedure. 1. Class organization. 2. Oral test. Answer the teacher the questions : - What do you remember most in the first semester ? - In which subject do you get the highest score ? - What are you going to do in this semester ? 3. New lesson. A. Warm up. Answer the questions: + What do you always do in summer ? + Do you like traveling ? + Do you know which places are famous there ?
B. Presentation Hang the picture of Nha trang and introduce the topic of the lesson . - Ask Ss to listen and answer the question: What did they do there ? - Play the tape the first time . - Introduce the new words and the simple past form. + New words: - Vacation - delicious. - Aquarium. - Souvenirs.  the simple past form: 1. The uses: Diễn tả những hành động đã xảy ra tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ 2. The form : a Động từ “ to be “ ( + ) I, he, she, it + was + O we ,you ,they + were + O. ( -) I, he, she ,it, + was not + O we , you they + were + not + O ( ? ) Was + I, he ,she , it + O ?
Were + we , you they + O? Answer: Yes, S + was/ were . No, S + was not / were not. b. Động từ thường . ( + ) S + V-ed + O. ( - ) S + did not + V-infinitive + O. ( ? ) Did + S + V- infinitive + O ? Answer : Yes , S + did . No, S + did not. * Adverb: Yesterday, last month / week/ year. ......... ago.  Pronunciation: /ed/ - /t/ :phụ âm vô thanh : walked. Laughed. - /d/: phụ âm hữu thanh.: opened. Learned. - / id/: tận cùng /t,d/.: started, needed. -Play the tape twice again and ask the Ss to do the exercise. C. Practice: - Ask the Ss to read the answer . - Teacher correct if necessary. 1. Liz went to Nhatrang.

Production . _ Ask the Ss to role play the dialogue and talk about the vacation. 4. Consolidation - Retell the main content of the simple past form. 5 Home work. - Do exercise 1.2 page 53 in work book.
