Processing of nephrolepis exaltata with glycerine to enhance shelf life by drying

Cut foliage production has been rapidly increased day by day and it’s playing an important role in the national income throughout world. Nephrolepis exaltata, a popular foliage commonly known as Boston fern normally exhibits longer vase life compared to other ferns. To ensure the availability of the greens for a longer duration a study was conducted on effect of glycerine solutions to enhance the shelf life and extend the longevity of Nephrolepis exaltata (L.).
