Size optimization design of threewheeled motorcycle frame with cargo box

The existing frame of a three-wheeled motorcycle with a cargo box was compared with the frame under high load through finite-element analysis by applying longitudinal bending and torsion, and the thicknesses of the members that exceeded allowable stress were optimized using the design of experiments.
