Maize (Zea mays L) is one of the most versatile emerging cereal crops having wider adaptability under varied agro-climatic conditions. Pre and post harvesting operations are the most labour intensive operations that are presently done manually in India and need to be mechanized. The physical properties of seeds play an important role for designing seed metering device.
