To generate the novel rice lines/varieties with high-yielding and low chalkiness ratio for the improvement of chalkiness traits of rice grains on the high-yielding rice varieties with the help of Microsatellitemolecular markers linked with the genes that control chalkiness characteristics on chromosome 7 of rice.
