  1. 1.INTRODUCTION 1.INTRODUCTION 2. CONTENTS 2. CONTENTS 3.CONCLUSION 3.CONCLUSION
  2. Superstition is a belief in supernatural  causality: that one event leads to the cause  of another without any physical process  linking the two events, such as astrology,  omens, witchcraft, etc., that contradicts  natural sciencen
  3. There are two kinds of superstitions origin: + Superstitions mind-seek: People seek something that too his ability to generate superstition. + Superstitions fear : Fear is the original born superstition.
  4. In the same manner life is influenced by the belief in superstitions. Whether people are conscious of it or not, faith in superstitions is invisibly present in their behavior and decisions. Either way, one thing is for certain, superstitions do have quite a significant power over us.
  5. Some of the more common superstitions are of course the near certainty that seeing a black cat is a sign of bad luck. Heaven forbid you should carelessly cause a mirror to break because if you do, you'll be cursed with seven years of bad luck. In North America, the number 13 is avoided at all costs. On Friday the 13th is an unlucky day.
  6. Most of them see the black cat as a shape-shifter which is capable of transforming into a witch or some sort of demon. Superstition has it that if you break a mirror you will receive 7 years of bad luck. Breaking a mirror 7 YEARS OF BAD LUCK
  7. Not walking under a ladder sounds a lot like common sense. If either the ladder or person on it were to fall, of course anything directly under the ladder would become an unfortunate target. I have seen friends, acquaintances, and neighbors who are affiliated with another religion or are atheists going out of their way to avoid that ladder. Could it have become such a widespread habit that the reason is no longer questioned?
  8. What do you do when you're watching the weekly lottery numbers being drawn on TV? Or how about when you're anxiously awaiting the hopefully positive results of some exam or test? I'll bet that whether you realize it or not you're probably crossing your fingers. This seems to be the most widespread sign of good luck.
  9. Knock on wood. Why do we knock on wood? It seems awfully strange to knock on wood after announcing one's good health. By knocking on wood, while at the same time saying, "Knock on wood," we are apparently avoiding a jinx as well as calling upon the good spirits of the wood to protect us. From the olden times, people of various backgrounds and walks of life have thought the forests and other parts of nature to contain spirits. So it's no surprise that people continued to worship these spirits even after they were taken from their original environment and converted into objects like tables, desks, and shelves.
  10. Many people still believe, when they see a shooting star, your wish will come true. Say "God bless you" to someone who has just sneezed, and covering your mouth and nose are good way of keeping your luck positive.
  11. Some people believe that a four leaf clover can bring you lots of good luck. The Irish have a tradition that says if someone find one by accident they will have good luck. Only one in 10,000 have four leaves. They stand for: Faith, Hope, Love, and Luck. The green hills of Ireland have more four-leaf clovers than anywhere else, or so the Irish say. From that come the saying, "luck of the Irish."
  12. Belief in superstitions may have both positive and negative effects on our lives.
  13. Positive Day tet Vietnamese people usually attend the temple, church to pray to the new year things are the best. Vietnam wants to do something. Such as: building a house, buying a car will want to choose a good day, time good to this to do this option.
  14. Each person has a particular conception of superstition. The other to see by, then go to the temple, go to church for security.
  15. Negative The jobs that are not proven to be a consequence of it as: burning long...We are not verifiable consequences that still believe, do repeated all the time so called superstitions.
  16. Many people are confused that divination, on the possible cure is better to go to the hospital. Superstition to disrupt family happiness, happiness of men and woman.
  17. As you can see there is an endless supply of superstitions, both good and back - ones that are taken seriously and others that are laughed at. But one thing is for certain, most people can't go about their daily lives without encountering superstitious thoughts and actions on some level. Although superstitions are completely erroneous, it is proven that the positive power of mind and prayers can improve the probability of success in your life. So make sure, your life is filled with positive energy, thoughts and behaviors, as those ridiculous superstitions have no logical basis whatsoever.
