The study "The difficulties encountered by ESL/EFL students in listening comprehension" aims to highlight a number of main listening difficulties encountered by ESL/ EFL students in listening comprehension. The results showed that students faced these difficulties during the three stages of listening: perception, parsing, and utilization.
