"Nghien cuu hiin trgng phdn bd vd gidi phdp bdo vi ngudn lgi rong Dd").<br />

Abstract:<br />
Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing techniques have<br />
been extensively applied for social economic fields as well as one of the useful<br />
methods to manage resources of marine environment in the world. Hence, GIS<br />
and remote sensing have applied to survey and evaluation of the seaweed<br />
resources in Ly Son Island (Cu Lao Re) An Vinh and An Hai commune to set the<br />
process of data collecting, modeling and displaying spatial data. The report<br />
presents the initial scientific results on the status of coastal bottom topography,<br />
the distribution of marine plant, the distribution of seaweeds and seaweed species<br />
as 32 species of Rhodophyta phylum, 13 species of Phaeophyta phylum, 12<br />
species of Chlorophyta phylum (In the project "Research on status of distribution<br />
and the solution of the red algae resource protection" the subject of the survey<br />
and evaluation in April 2010).<br />
The results in application of remote sensing and GIS techniques in this report<br />
would contribute to management, orientaion action plan to protect and<br />
sustainable ultilize of coastal seaweed resources in Ly Son island as well as<br />

general orientation for issues in the conservation plan of the economic<br />
exploitation from marine resources.<br />
1. Mddau<br />
Huyen dao Ly Son each bd tir cang Sa Ky - Binh Chau den cang huyen dao khoang<br />
29km thudc tinh Quang Ngai, dugc thanh lap cap huyen tir nam 1992. Dien tich ciia huyen<br />
khoang 9,97 km^, gdm dao Ldn (Ly Son, cii lao Re) va dao Be (cii lao Bd Bai) d phia Bac dao<br />
Ldn. Dieu kien tu nhien thuan lgi, cau tnic dja hinh ven bien dao dugc bao boc dan xen nliiing<br />
quan xa san hd, rong bien va ed bien quanh dao. Nhu cac bai trieu ddc thoai cd nod keo dai tir<br />
1 - 2 km tao ra mot he sinh thai viing trieu ven dao rat da dang va phong phii [2]. Do dd, khu<br />
vuc nay da dugc cac nha khoa hoc quan tam nghien cim d nhieu ITnh vuc khac nhau nhu:<br />
khao cd, dja hinh do sau [7], ngudn lgi thirc vat bien, khai thac ngudn lgi che bien va djnh<br />
hudng xay dung mot trong 16 khu bao tdn bien Viet nam [1].<br />

Kit qua budc diu cho thiy viing phan bd cac tham rong biin (theo thdi diem anh) tren nen<br />
hgp phin day quanh dao Ly Son (Hinh 4 (1, 2, 3, 4) va hinh 5) cd dien tich khoang 289,3ha.<br />
Trong dd, vimg phia Bic cd dien tich khoang 81,67ha, viing phia Ddng cd dien tich 78,83ha;<br />
viing phia Nam cd dien tich 52,52ha; va viing phia Tay cd dien tich 76,33ha. Tren co sd cac<br />
dur lieu dien tich tham rong dugc giai doan ket hgp vdi dir lieu khao sat thirc dja ta cd the danh<br />
gia hien trang san lugng ngudn lgi rong d dao Ly Son.<br />

4. Ket luan<br />
Dudi sir hd trg ciia cdng nghe vien tham va GIS, cae ban dd chuyen de viing phan bd<br />
hgp phan day da dugc xay dimg vdi dien tich khu vuc khoang 880,7ha.Trong dd, tham rong<br />
chilm 32,84% (289,3ha), rong xen lan trong cd chilm 18,87% (161,2ha), cd 21,45%<br />
(188,9ha). Vdi ket qua ban dau danh gia tai thdi diem dieu tra cho thay san lugng ciia nhdm<br />
rong Dd kinh te dat dugc khoang 4,48 tan.<br />
