5S methodology

In this paper, via a particular case of a garment company, Esquel Ltd. in Dongnai - a southern province of Vietnam, a range of primary and secondary data was collected to assess the effectiveness of 5S implementation.

Khái niệm Phương pháp 5S (5S methodology) bắt nguồn từ đất nước văn minh mặt trời mọc, đó là Nhật Bản vào đầu những năm 1980 của thế kỷ XX. Phương pháp 5S được phát mình bởi người Nhật và họ cũng rất tự hào khi cả thế giới áp dụng phương pháp này của họ. Năm 1986, Phương pháp hay khái niệm 5S được phổ biến ở nhiều nước như Singapore, Trung Quốc, Ba Lan. Tại Việt Nam, 5S được đưa vào áp dụng từ năm 1993.
