The study results show inter-relationships and transformations of the three indicators in the research context, where urban land temperature and Urban Heat Island (UHI) are raised by built-up areas and in contrast, reduced by vegetated areas. As a result, urban green space would be a driver to mitigate the harmful impact of the "heat island" effect in urban areas. Aim to strengthen concentrated green areas and vegetation in land areas that are less favorable for construction.

In the case of length weight relationship (LWR), the coefficient of determination value (r2 ) was found 0.96 and the slope was found b = 1.50 which indicated the pattern of negative allometric growth of this species as b < 3. In contrast, an increase was recorded in the fecundity associated with the rise of total length, body weight and gonad weight showed a significant linear relationship. This study would assist in the development of induced breeding techniques and provide valuable information for the sustainable management of this population in the inland open ecosystem.

This purpose of this work was to investigate the patient radiation doses and image quality of a Philips/Agfa computed radiographic (CR) system and a Philips indirect-capture digital radiographic (DR) system in a paediatric setting. A CDRAD digital radiographic contrast-detail phantom was used to assess radiographic image quality. Perspex slabs of three different thicknesses (6, 11 and 16 cm) were used to simulate paediatric patients of three arbitrary ages.

This article presents a contrastive analysis of conceptual metaphors (CMs) denoting the concept of “Life” in English and Vietnamese lyric songs. The Oligocene Ruslar Formation, an equivalent of the Maykop Suite, is a potential hydrocarbon source rock in the western Black Sea Basin. In contrast to the offshore areas, the depositional environment and hydrocarbon source rock potential of onshore Bulgaria sediments are largely unknown. Hence, a 14-m-thick section of the Ruslar Formation, exposed near Karadere (Black Cape) along the Black Sea coast, provides an excellent opportunity to study the upper part of the Ruslar Formation.

This study presents a coolant void reactivity analysis of Canada Deuterium Uranium (CANDU)- 6 and Advanced Canada Deuterium Uranium Reactor-700 (ACR-700) fuel lattices using a Monte Carlo code. The reactivity changes when the coolant was voided were assessed in terms of the contributions of four factors and spectrum shifts. In the case of single bundle coolant voiding, the contribution of each of the four factors in the ACR-700 lattice is large in magnitude with opposite signs, and their summation becomes a negative reactivity effect in contrast to that of the CANDU-6 lattice.
