The present objective of this work is to find photoactive materials capable of facilitating visible light-driven redox reactions between CO2 and H2O. Our research is primarily focused on the incorporation of nitrogen (N) into the crystal lattice of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and its deposition onto Fe-MIL-88B to improve light absorption properties, minimize recombination of photo-generated electron-hole pairs, and increase CO2 adsorption capacity.

The main purpose of the current study is to investigate the impact of absorptive capacity on supply chains. In addition to that, the study has examined the mediating role of responsive strategy in the relationship between absorptive capacity in supply chain and performance. This research is based on the analysis of absorptive capacity to be an organizational value making a firm able to gather, use, and implement the information from outside. The study demonstrates the association between absorptive capacity and responsive strategy.

The present study contributes to the SCM and marketing literature, concerning the roles of SCM alignment and firm’s absorptive capacity to utilize social capital for achieving supply chain resilience. Firstly, understanding means to enhance supply chain resilience via social capital, therefore, in this regard taking absorptive capacity into account is necessary. Secondly, this study highlights that SCM alignment has the power to restrict the extent that social capital supports the firm’s absorptive capacity.

The study examines how Small-Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) demonstrate a range of innovation capabilities when they collaborate with a regional university research centre. This collaboration is shown to be important to create and exchange new knowledge to advance the firms innovation performance. The study demonstrates the ability of firms to acquire and exploit this knowledge, which is a business competency described as absorptive capacity (AC). AC relies on several antecedents or factors to engage with a collective learning process.

The research extends the understanding of these factors through the incorporation of Absorptive Capacity (ACAP). Accordingly, a model is developed that integrates ACAP, MVC and MV with market-driving innovation performance, comprising before-launch stage performance, post-launch stage performance and financial performance. External and internal structural factors relevant to the firm such as size and the nature of its competitive environment are also considered as moderators in the model.

In this study, the effectiveness of high alite cement (HAC) in improving cracking and the quality of covercrete of slag concrete is investigated. The cracking resistance ability is examined via the tensile strength of concrete, while the surface water absorption test is applied to study the quality of covercrete. The results reveal the capacity of HAC in improving the tensile strength of slag concrete.

This paper reports the application of the \(R{u^{2 + }}, C{u^ + }, and F{e^{2 + }}\) complexes in form of RuL2(SCN)2, CuL2(SCN)2 for dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) development. The calculation results, given by quantum chemistry, demonstrated that the complex containing copper is more suitable than the one containing iron. The modification of Cu(I) complex by using various numbers of ligands enhanced photon absorption capacity as well as the absorption range.

In the past decades, scholars have addressed the importance of intermediary organizations as facilitators of technology transfer in an innovation system. They used the intermediary term in different contexts of the innovation system. Although many studies underlined the importance of intermediaries, there is not much discussion on the functions of intermediaries in the innovation system. This paper aims to highlight the importance of intermediaries in increasing the absorptive capacity of firms.
