Affordable and clean energy

The find a dominance of quantitative approaches that tend to use existing (and often limited) forms of survey data, and a relative absence of detailed qualitative research. =If sustainable development goals (SDGs) seven of affordable and clean energy will be achieved, access to clean energy such as solar energy needs dedicated attention. The study assessed respondents’ perception of solar energy and identified factors influencing their preference level in urban areas of Southwest Nigeria. Ezzati and Kammen (2001, 2002) present indoor PM concentration measurements also for several types of charcoal stoves. PM concentrations are found to be substantially lower than concentrations from fuel wood stoves. Charcoal is often considered by households as an intermediate fuel on the energy ladder. While it certainly is not considered a clean fuel, it is often a preferred choice in many urban areas whenever available instead of fuel wood, before households can afford LPG or other clean alternatives.

Although there were many books and papers that deal with gasification, there has been only a few practical book explaining the technology in actual application and the market situation in reality. Gasification is a key technology in converting coal, biomass, and wastes to useful high-value products.
