Product flow and challenges in the pomelo (Citrus maxima) industry in Northern Mindanao, Philippines
The high demand for Davao pomelo and its suitability to the local climate in the Philippines have given rise to expansion potentials and provided possibilities in curbing poverty levels in the agricultural sector of the region. In order to design intervention projects and policies, the present study investigated the pomelo industry in Northern Mindanao covering specifically the product flow and challenges in the industry.

The score function is used to compare intutionistic fuzzy numbers. In this paper, a novel score function of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) is investigated. The novel score function was constructed by combining the polynomial and exponential functions working on the degree of membership and degree of non-membership of intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

The aim of this project was to select highly sensitive and specific aptamer capable of detecting Fusarium graminearum (Fg) and F. pseudograminearum (Fp) species. The aptamer-based testing allows early detection of fungal infection in the field. Fungi are known to change their activity and may often undergo genetic changes. The classic "gene for gene" theory explains the relationship between host plant cultivars and fungal pathogenic races.

This study has been prepared in accordance with the objectives of evaluating and developing geothermal resources in order to bring the geothermal resources in the Konya Plain Project (KOP) Region, which includes Aksaray, Kırşehir, Konya, Nevşehir, Niğde and Yozgat provinces, to the country’s economy with maximum capacity, and to develop proposals for investments to be made. The number of overnight stays and the number of tourists outside the region should be increased by utilizing alternative tourism opportunities in the region.

This article provides a direction for furfure research in small and medium enterprises invest in foreigner countries; specially in Vietnam market. The major projects that Korea Enterprises invested covered mostly in the Northern of Vietnam provinces such as Bac Ninh, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen. Meanwhile, in southern Vietnam, the Mekong River Delta region with many projects calling for investment in agriculture and tourism has not attracted much attention from Korean investors.

Research intensity1 in Vietnam is less than 0.2% which is lower that most developing countries of 0.5% and much lower than developed country average of 1.5%. GoV has targeted a 12% increase of central government funding levels from 2006 – 2011 and to date total funding increases in agricultural research funding have exceeded that level. MARD research funding provides approximately 65% of all forms of local funding in Vietnam.
