Pluchea pteropoda, an annual plant in the Asteraceae family, has traditionally been used in Vietnamese folk medicine as an alternative treatment for high fever, indigestion, and painful and swollen wounds. The present study investigates the acute toxicity and antiinflammatory effects of P. pteropoda aerial parts ethanol extract (EtPP) in animal models.
